I personally own a Blackberry 7130e and can’t say I’m SUPER happy with it anymore. When it first came out it was cool because it was a new “sleeker” blackberry, but actually it’s pretty big. I have to wear it on my belt because if I put it in my pocket I’d hear “is that a cell phone in your pocket or are you happy to see me” all day. It has some cool features, but if I could go back in time I’d get a different cellular provider, phone, and package.
Let’s talk about what I do like about the phone for second I guess:
First off it was the first Blackberry smartphone that allowed you to connect to the internet using it as a modem with your laptop. It works pretty well. It’s faster than dial-up but certainly isn’t high speed. If you’re going to use it as a modem though you need a unlimited data transfer package which will set you back about $60/mth.
