The battery life is absolutely dismal and unacceptable. The touch screen is really useless without the touch pen. I have to reboot the phone everyday because it freezes overnight when recharging. I do not understand how anyone can say anything good about this phone. It is a bad iphone wannabe.

To the above poster, this is true if you have automatic updates on emails and such, and havn't se there to be an automatic idle time disconnect for the 3G. If you set this up, then you'll get a much longer battery life out of your omnia.

It is still the longest lasting 3G phone on the market, cant get about 6 hours with 3g on, and a bluetooth connection to my laptop. Thats awesome for a device this small.

I purchased the Samsung Omnia due to its features and looks, These are brilliant. However there are downsides to this device mainly the following. If you utilise the features like mail, camera, GPS, and have many calls (incoming and outgoing) the battery lasts for less than 8 hours. (the best I have had was 9 hours and the worst 4 hours using the GPS.) also the display scratches very easily.
