It is quite undeniable that in this day and age there are already lots of cellular phone models available in the world market. However, not all of those models are deemed to be outstanding in terms of design, features, and functionality. Fortunately, Research in Motion (RIM) has now finally come up with a phone that can absolutely make all people in awe because of its exceptional quality when it comes to its features and applications. The Blackberry Storm 9530 is the newest model among the Blackberry phones. As a matter of fact, the Storm 9530 phone is believed to be the best Blackberry phone available at this very moment.

Here are some of the outstanding features of a Blackberry Storm 9530:

• Design: The design of Smart 9530 of Blackberry phones is not that sophisticated but is truly very efficient. It is a smooth-edged phone with four physical keys (menu key, power/end key, back key, and talk key) which are located at the bottom part of the screen.

• Screen: Storm 9530 is a 3.25-inch Sure-Touch or touch-screen type of phone. This only means that you can freely slide your fingers crossways to navigate the menu, move between multiple applications, or choose a particular item.

• Keyboard: The keyboard of Blackberry Storm 9530 is just like any other typical Blackberry phones. It follows the QWERTY keyboard format which can be a good thing if you are a true blue computer user or a bad thing if you are used to the usual keyboards of Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, or Sony Ericson.

• Camera: Blackberry Storm 9530 has a 3.2 MP camera which has an LED flash and auto-focus option. It also has 2x zoom making it easier for you to capture distant objects or items. You can also use the camera to record some videos any time you want. The camera lens is located at the back part of the phone. In addition, you can also send easily your captured photos and recorded videos to your family and friends through the MMS messaging feature of Storm 9530 or by simply uploading the photos and videos to some social networking sites in the worldwide web.

• Memory: Storm 9530 has a great memory capacity with its 1GB internal expandable memory. You can use a microSD of up to 16GB to still increase the memory capacity of the phone if you want to.

• Battery: The Blackberry’s newest model uses a Li-Ion 1400 mAh battery which can last of up to 360 hours if it’s on a standby mode only and has 330 minutes talk time. Thus, the battery life of Storm 9530 is really noteworthy.

• Other Features: Storm 9530 has a Bluetooth and USB connectivity which you can use in sharing files like photos, audios, or videos to your family and friends. It has also a built- in media player which supports AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, ProPlus, MP3, and WMA audio files formats.

Indeed, Blackberry Storm 9530 is said to be the most excellent Blackberry phone existing today because of its exceptional features and remarkable functionality. In this regard, it is just safe to say that it is the kind of Blackberry phone which is definitely worth buying for.

I personally own a Blackberry 7130e and can’t say I’m SUPER happy with it anymore. When it first came out it was cool because it was a new “sleeker” blackberry, but actually it’s pretty big. I have to wear it on my belt because if I put it in my pocket I’d hear “is that a cell phone in your pocket or are you happy to see me” all day. It has some cool features, but if I could go back in time I’d get a different cellular provider, phone, and package.

Let’s talk about what I do like about the phone for second I guess:

First off it was the first Blackberry smartphone that allowed you to connect to the internet using it as a modem with your laptop. It works pretty well. It’s faster than dial-up but certainly isn’t high speed. If you’re going to use it as a modem though you need a unlimited data transfer package which will set you back about $60/mth.

Secondly, I really like the speaker phone feature. Only 1/2 jokingly I’ll say that the speaker phone feature comes in handy because I can sit it down on the desk when I’m on hold waiting for Blackbery troubleshooting.

Now onto the numerous weaknesses:

My first complaint is that while it is smaller than a normal Blackberry, it’s not small enough to put in your pocket, but it’s not big enough to have a full keypad or a good screen to read email on.

Also the cell phone ringtones SUCK. You can’t get real music or anything of the sort, which is really annoying. I used to have “I’m too sexy” as my cell ringtone and it was awesome. Now I have like beep beep beeeeeep beep beep, not nearly as cool.

Anyway there are better options out there then this phone. I give it a 2 of 5. If you want a functional Blackberry get one. If you want a sleek phone with some cool features and the brand name get a Blackberry Pearl.
